I crashed the Quadcopter today. damages are so far 1 GoProHD lens and 1 propeller – and I think I have to replace the alloy arms as well…Camera gimbal seems OK, motors and ESC’s seems OK so far and I think my CD cakebox saved the electronics in the crash.

Luckily I have 1 more GoPro HDcamera and I think I have spares if anything needs to be replaced. I have no idea what caused the crash but it seemed like the right-rear motor lost power for a short time. This occurred in stable mode. When I brought the Quad back for a landing It crashed from low altitude and I could only watch it go down. The 2 first glitches was at higher altitude and the level mode saved me both times when motor got power back. Right now I’m only glad I did not crash on any buildings or people near by.
The camera can most likely be repaired or I simply use the 2nd GoProHD and modify this one with a Sunex lens.

The camera now has a new 120degree lens…not the same quality and no IR filter – but it works
