Here is the part list for my HK Bixler build
Hobbyking Bixler EPO 1400mm – (ARF)
Starting with the motor
D2826-6 2200kv Outrunner Motor
ESC
Hobbyking SS Series 35-40A ESC
Servos
HXT900 9g / 1.6kg / .12sec Micro Servo
Replacement control horns (stocks are not good)
Control Horns 16x20mm (10pcs)
(requires screws below)
Self-Tapping Screws 2.5×14 (bag of 100pc)
Propeller
TGS Sport 6x4E Precision propeller
As you notice I ordered the ARF version and it comes with motor/propeller/servos/servo extensions, horns & links all in place – but they are not quite up to the task when loading the Bixler with FPV or navigation equipment.
All items will be replaced (I really should order the kit instead)

Did your motor fit the stock mount?

HI!
yes – the motor fits perfect. The same bolt holes and everything. I removed small parts of the foam to allow a bit more airflow.

I am planning to buy de Bixler2 1500 version for a GoPro and FPV kit. I would appreciate recommendations on the best motor, ESC and propeller. Thanks.

HI!
I have not yet seen any review of the Bixler2 but I assume the same motor is enough as it has plenty of power. I am cruising at 1/3 throttle at the moment but I assume this will go up a notch when I add some FPV gear.
